How these picks are made
How these picks are made: each listed match today has two likely exact scores from our Poisson goals model. The data from API-Football includes results, form, home and away goals, head-to-head records and bookmaker odds. It covers the season and each team's last 5 matches. We only list games where both teams have at least 4 recent matches of data. Popular leagues come first.
The goals model estimates how many goals each team may score. It gives the season average a weight of 60% and the last 5 matches a weight of 40%. These estimates are pulled slightly towards typical scoring: about 1.45 home goals and 1.15 away goals. This helps stop small amounts of data from producing extreme scores. The model then gives each possible exact score a probability.
The home win, draw and away win probabilities come half from the goals model and half from bookmaker prices with the bookmaker's margin removed. If one result has at least a 45% chance, both score picks come from that result. The Chance column adds the probabilities of the two selected scores. A single exact score rarely passes 15%, and the pair is still well below 50%. Most two-score tips lose, even when they are the model's leading picks.
Below today's table, yesterday's tips are marked won if either score landed, or lost if neither did. You can also see the single most likely score for today or look at tomorrow's correct-score picks. Odds shown elsewhere are market prices for reference and may differ at your bookmaker. 18+, bet only what you can afford to lose.
Frequently asked questions
What does the search phrase 'two sure correct score' mean?
No score is sure. People use this search phrase for two exact-score picks. Here, the page shows two likely scores from the model, but their combined chance is still well below 50%.
Why do both correct scores show the same winner?
Both scores come from the same result when a home win, draw or away win has at least a 45% chance. This keeps the score picks in line with the favourite. Both picks can still lose.
What does Chance mean for two correct scores?
Chance is the two selected scores' probabilities added together. It shows the combined chance that either exact score will happen. A single score rarely passes 15%, and two scores together are still well below 50%.
How can I check yesterday's correct-score tips?
Look below today's table for yesterday's two-score tips. A tip is marked won if either of its two scores matched the final score. It is marked lost if neither score landed.
Which correct score is most common?
In our data of 101,543 matches, 1-1 is the most common score at 10.3%, followed by 1-0 at 9.0% and 2-1 at 8.0%. These overall figures do not tell you which score will happen in a particular match.
Why is a match missing from today's table?
A match is not listed unless both teams have at least 4 recent matches of data. This rule means some games may be missing. The model needs recent results for both teams to make its score picks.
